These 3-Ingredient Strawberry Chocolate Hearts are incredibly simple and be whipped up by a toddler! They are a classic really – strawberries and chocolate. The difference here is that the strawberries are cut into heart shapes (well it’s February the month of the love) and then dipped into chocolate and sprinkles with chopped nuts for a crunch!
It’s really just a quick ( maybe romantic ) treat to whip up! it’s a lot of fun, you can even have your kids around to dip the strawberries into the chocolate ( bet it’s gonna be messy, but it will be fun )
Nothing complicated, all you need is 3 ingredients:
3. Chopped nuts for a crunch
Simply cut the strawberries into hearts, or dip them whole, it doesn’t really matter and dip them in the melted chocolate, sprinkle some nuts if you like, and chill for a bit, then enjoy them!
It’s not rocket science obviously, but there is so much room to use your own imagination and put some nice little things on top (as I did, I put some sugar flower work just to make them pretty )
Or you can even be super naughty, and drizzle some white chocolate on them, why not?
Seriously, this recipe is to have fun, so get your fingers in that chocolate and get messy and creative!
3.5oz/100g of chocolate – melted
10 large strawberries
chopped nuts to finish for a crunch (optional)
1. Simply wash and prepare the strawberries, then coat them in the melted chocolate, and put them on a wire rack, so the excess chocolate falls off.
2. Sprinkle the chopped nuts if using, and chill until set.
Enjoy these 3-Ingredient Strawberry Chocolate Hearts straight away, or store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
