Avocado Tartine

This Avocado Tartine Is so quick and easy to make!
A tartine is just a posh name for an open sandwich! It’s normally super quick and easy to make, so its good for when you are busy and need a quick healthy bite to eat.

The weird combo of the creaminess of the avocado, the sweetness and the crunch of the pomegranate and the heat in the background of the chili will definitely excite your tastebuds!

Ingredients:

1 large toasted slice of sourdough bread
Half an avocado
A handful of pomegranate seeds
A pinch of chili flakes
2 pinches of chopped coriander

To serve:
1/4 bag of  mixed leaves
50g Cherry tomatoes
50g of Cooked beetroot
A drizzle of balsamic glaze(optional)

Method:
Slice the avocado, then arrange the slices on the toast, top up with the rest of the ingredients. Serve it with the side salad of the mixed leaves, the cherry tomatoes and beetroot with a drizzle of balsamic glaze for an extra sweetness and sourness to this avocado tartine.
Enjoy!

Tip: The Avocado can be a tricky one for some people because they find it’s texture quite “mushy” or find the avocado tasteless! So what  I would recommend is to always season your avocado with a bit of salt, and always try to add texture or a crunch of some sort to it!
