Doc Martens are a big favorite of many including me, but can you find doc martens vegan boots? Hmm, well, we will find out today, won’t we! I have covered every area my brain could think of, and now I’m here to share with you what I unearthed!

Yes, Dr. Martens do sell vegan shoes! They have a whole range of extra-durable, synthetic materials that are made via 100% animal-friendly manufacturing. They have a little yellow vegan heel loop to let you know what they are, and they will last just as long as their non-vegan counterparts! 

Are Vegan Doc Martens Any Good?

After scouring through many reviews to find out if people are happy with the vegan Dr. Martens shoes, I can tell you that they are 100% loved by their buyers. 

Here is one review we cannot get over. 

“I’m extremely happy with these shoes. They’re vegan, and the leather is pretty damn soft. I don’t really have to “break them in” because they are already comfortable.”

When you look at them, the vegan Doc. Martens does not really look that different, they are hard to tell apart from their animal product counterpart.

Only their pull loop at the back of the pair gives them away as being vegan. They just use Doc Martens vegan leather!

So, apart from the material used and the vegan factor, the pull loop is the only thing that actually gives the game away, otherwise… They look just the same!

I am absolutely in love with the Dr. Martens Adult Gladiator Buckled Strap Sandal. They have it in Unisex and for Women. It does carry a high price tag, but it is so worth it, especially if it’s hot out, and you want to look like a Gladiator (like from the movie!)

Vegan Doc Martens White

A white shoe has an air of style about it, and we love, love, LOVE the 1461 Oxford. They come in different colors, but this is gorgeous. You can easily get them from Amazon, or Dr. Martens’s own store!

• Stylish Black Laces.
• Durable.
• 100% synthetic.
• Versatile.
• Air-cushioned sole.

Cons

• Made in the USA OR imported.
• Not always the best for being work shoes.
• Good quality but heavy.

Vegan Doc Martens Platform

If you want platforms, the Vegan Jadon II Kemble Mono Platforms are gorgeous! Okay, they come with a higher price tag than some others, but they are worth it, and they come for men and women! Be stylish whenever whoever you are! 

Available on Amazon in Black and on Dr.Martens in pure gleaming white!

• Easy to keep clean.
• Usually a perfect fit.

• Expensive.
• Imported.
• May need to wear thick socks with them.

Womens Vegan Doc Martens

For all the ladies who want a nice Doc Martens fashion boot, definitely get the 2976 Felix Chelsea boot. You can get it at Dr. Martens, or if you want the quad version, check out Amazon! 

Pros

• Stylish.
• Simple.
• Versatile. 
• Rubber sole for comfort. 

Cons

• Made in Vietnam (Amazon).
• No reviews on the Amazon ‘quad’ item.
• Pricey.

Mens Vegan Doc Martens

Honestly, if you are a guy who wants to look sleek and sultry, having all eyes in the office on your style, I recommend the Vegan 1461 Felix Oxford, which I mentioned above. While they do have plenty that is unisex, they look dashing on a dude. 

Just imagine wearing these around the office! 

Vegan Black Doc Martens

Oh, the Vegan Sinclair’s, what a boot! If you are a little unique, these are for you. They look incredible, and I can’t get enough. Check them out on Amazon and on Dr. Martens’s site.

Vegan Cherry Red Doc Martens

If you want some Vegan Docs in Cherry Red, check out my previous mention, the Vegan Jadon II. They have a cherry red that is just gorgeous! However, the only shoes they have in Cherry Red are the Jadon II, the 1461 Oxford, and the 1460. 

Doc Martens Vegan 1460

The 1460 is an epic range of shoes, all are gorgeous boots. The Dr. Martens site offers you 7 types! Though, the Dr. Martens Amazon store only has the one vegan 1460 on sale, which is the men’s boot.

However, all the 1460s have great reviews. I’ve got to say my favorite is the Metallic Emboss of this line though!

• Not many on the Amazon store.

How To Break In Vegan Doc Martens

What I do know about the vegan Doc Martens range is easier to break in than their animal product ones. (another good reason to go vegan!) 

If you want an easy way to break them in, though, unpack them from their box and stuff them full of newspaper to stretch them out. Or, if you feel lazy, double sock and walk around the house in them! 

How To Clean Vegan Doc Martens

To look after your Doc’s do not clean them with anything harsh, just use a microfiber cloth, like you would for your car. Some water alone should do the trick, warm but not boiling, a bit of soap, and finish off with a colorless polishing cream.

So simple, so easy! I love it! 

Are Vegan Doc Martens Waterproof?

Vegan Docs are made from a waterproof synthetic material, they can withstand severe rain. While we wouldn’t recommend surfing wearing them, or paddling in a lake in them, they won’t suffer if you get splashed by a passing idiot as you walk down the street.
