Different Hummus – Heinz Baked Beans Hummus – a controversial hummus, that you will either love or absolutely hate. Here is the deal guys, I like hummus, alright. And, I also love baked beans. Just give me beans, and I can survive off them all my life pretty much.
Now, because I have done so many different types of hummus, I had to think outside, of the outside of the box for this one. I was looking at my pantry for inspiration and saw this can of beans, and thought to myself…can I make hummus out of that? Surely it’s worth the try.
Because baked beans have so much liquid in them, I strained the beans and added them to a food processor with the usual suspects; tahini, garlic, lemon juice, etc. Blitzed, and voila. A creamy, delicious hummus came out of that can of baked beans.
