You probably know by now, that I am addicted to hummus… I just love love, love hummus. So, of course, I am going to try every twist and way of making hummus. Sweet potato hummusRaw Carrot HummusLentil Hummus, and a couple hundred more haha.

But why try dill pickle hummus? – because it’s tasty, to begin with! Also, if you like pickles (and hummus is a bonus) you can make a delicious snack out of ’em!

How To Make Dill Pickles Hummus:

The Ingredients:

Cooked Chickpeas – I used canned
Dill – I used fresh, but you can use dried too
Pickles
Tahini
Cumin
Garlic
Water Or Aquafaba

All the ingredients are added to a food processor and blitzed until smooth. It might take 3-4 minutes, but keep working the food processor to achieve the smoothness you want.

This Easy Dill Pickle Hummus is a tasty twist on the classic hummus recipe. Perfect for parties, lunch boxes, or snacks. It's so colorful and nutritious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can/tin 12oz/400g of chickpeas drained and rinsed keep 4 tbsp of the juice!
  • 4 tbsp of the chickpea juice from the can or water
  • ¼ bunch of fresh dill picked from stems
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 cloves of garlic peeled and minced
  • 9-10 small pickles from a jar roughly cut
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a food processor and process the dip until creamy. You may need to add more water of it's not processing well enough. The longer you process it, the creamier it will get. It should take about 3-4 minutes.
  • Taste the hummus again briefly and season to your taste.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

The hummus will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
