This Easy Sticky Sesame Vegan Cauliflower is sweet and sour, with a slight crunch and complemented perfectly with the background taste of sesame.
It’s incredibly easy to make this delicious Easy Sticky Sesame Vegan Cauliflower, simply coats the cauliflower florets into a batter, roast, then coat them with the sticky sauce.
They are an ideal side dish, or for whatever you fancy having them with! Eating them on their own is perfectly fine!
When we made this recipe, we sat on the sofa and ate from the mixing bowl as a snack whilst watching Netflix!

How To Make Sesame Vegan Cauliflower Florets:
Ingredients:
1/2 a head of Cauliflower cut into florets
1/2 cup/45g of plain flour (can be GF or cornflour – 1 tablespoon mixed with 2 tablespoons of water!)
1/3cup/ 80ml water
Pinch of salt and pepper
Pinch of garlic and onion powder
For the sticky sauce:
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
Same size piece of ginger grated
2tbs brown sugar or maple syrup
1tbs of rice vinegar, or balsamic vinegar
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 cup/120ml veggie stock
1 tablespoon of cornflour
Method:
1. Mix the water, flour, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper and coat batter over cauliflower, place in the oven at 180c/375F and spray with a little olive oil.
2. Cook for 40 minutes or until golden.
3. To make the sauce, add all the ingredients for the sauce except the cornflour(flour) in a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat, mix the cornflour(flour) with the water and pour it to the sauce and simmer until it thickens.
4. Coat the roasted cauliflower florets with the sauce and sprinkle some sesame seeds to serve.
