You can easily have these brownies for breakfast if you are in a rush, for a healthy afternoon snack, or for your pre-workout snack!
These delicious healthy brownies only need 4 ingredients!
Now you are probably thinking – “Hemp seeds, what’s that? and why is it in my brownie” But trust me, hemp seeds are so, so healthy and nutritious!
Hemp seeds are rich in healthy fats and essential fatty acids. They are also a great protein source (31g per 100g of hemp seeds to be exact) and contain high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc

The sweetness comes naturally from the dates, which makes these brownies so healthy and guilt-free The hemp seeds pack so many nutrients, just make sure when you make these brownies, is to blend the hemp seeds as finely as possible if you are using whole hemp seeds, as their outer shell can be quite unpleasant to chew. Just blend them on high until it crushes them into small pieces! It shouldn’t take more than 20 seconds.

Cuts into 12 small bars
2 cups (350 g) soft pitted dates
1 cup (140 g) hemp seeds
1 cup (110 g) raw walnuts
1/3 cup (35 g) raw cacao powder (can substitute regular cocoa powder)
1/2 tsp sea salt (optional, for flavor enhancement)
- Add all the ingredients to a food processor or a high-speed blender and whizz until it forms a dough, about 20 seconds.
2. Press the dough into a square baking pan lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for an hour to firm. Lift out of the pan and cut into 12 squares.
