When the craving for fries hits, but you want something a little more nutrient-dense, then give these Easy Healthy Skinny Baked Carrot Fries a try.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium-sized carrots cut into fries see photos for guidance
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp of onion powder
  • 1 tbsp of dried thyme.
  • 1 tbsp of paprika
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
  • Cut carrots into ‘fries’, about 1cm thick, and mix with all the spices.
  • Toss with vegetable oil, spread in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment, and bake for 40-45 mins, turning halfway.

Notes

Once cooled, store them in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Ideally, reheat them in the oven.
