Easy 1-Ingredient Creamy Tahini

This homemade tahini recipe is quick and easy! It uses just 1 ingredient, tastes amazing and it's nice and creamy. Add this to dressings, sauces or even baking!

Ingredients
  

  • 2-4 cups/568gsesame seeds the amount of sesame seeds you use will determine how much tahini quantity you will come out with, the more you use, the more tahini you will make

Instructions
 

  • Spread the sesame seeds out evenly on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven at 300ºF for about 15 - 20 minutes, stirring every few minutes so they don't burn. Toast until the seeds are golden brown. Alternatively, toast them in a dry hot frying pan, shaking constantly so they don't burn!
  • Allow the seeds to cool slightly, then transfer them to a food processor. Process on high until smooth and creamy, about 10 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed to get the paste to blend evenly a few times.
  • Once creamy, pour into a glass container.

Notes

Store in the fridge or in a cool dark place (like your cupboard!). Tahini will keep for 1 - 2 weeks in the cupboard, 3 - 4 in the fridge.
