This Vegan Chocolate Mousse Smoothie tastes like chocolate mousse and it’s made from healthy ingredients only!
This chocolate smoothie is filled with healthy fat, protein, and free of gluten. It makes a perfect breakfast, pre-workout, or post-workout meal to support muscle repair and growth.

I have had a couple of friends asking me – is dark chocolate vegan? The answer is, mostly yes, but always check the ingredients of the package. In this smoothie recipe I am using cocoa powder, but again, always make sure you check the ingredients, in case there is some hidden milk powder!

If you’re trying to limit sugar but you LOVE ALL THINGS CHOCOLATE, this creamy chocolate mousse smoothie is for you! Tastes like a dessert, but it’s made out of healthy ingredients only!

This Chocolate Smoothie is also perfect for kids too. It’s sweet, creamy, and full-to-the-brim with kid appeal. AND it’s made from whole fruit, dairy-free milk, avocado, and other nourishing ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of oats
  • 1 tbsp of sweetener like date paste, or maple syrup
  • 1 cup/200ml of dairy-free milk
  • 2 dates - or other dried fruit of choice
  • half a banana
  • half an avocado

Instructions
 

  • Peel the banana. Scoop the flesh out of the avocado and add all the ingredients to a blender. Blitz for 2-3 minutes.
  • To make the smoothie less thick, just add more dairy-free milk or water.
