Easy Healthy Chocolate Orange Avocado Mousse – that’s all done in a food processor and is soooo yummy!
You know me, I am one to make things healthier. There is nothing better than enjoying a classic dessert, but made healthier! No guilt, no-calorie bombs, just pure pleasure.
Avocados make a great healthy substitute for butter, but in our case here – for the heavy cream.
This delicious healthy vegan chocolate mousse is sweetened mainly with orange juice and a touch of maple syrup.
If you like things sweeter, you can definitely use more maple syrup, but I like to keep my desserts to a minimum sweetness.
You can make this delicious vegan chocolate mousse by hand, mixing it well, but you won’t achieve that ultimate creaminess if you don’t do this in a high-speed blender or ideally a food processor.
How To Make Healthy Chocolate Orange Avocado Mousse:
You will require the following ingredients:
1. Ripe Avocados
2. Cacao Powder
3. Maple Syrup
4. Fresh Orange
The orange is zested and juiced, the avocado is pitted and peeled. Once that’s done, all the ingredients are added to a food processor and blitzed until smooth and creamy.
Spoon the creamy goodness onto a small serving dish, sprinkle some cacao nibs if you like and place in the fridge for about an hour.
Enjoy this delicious vegan chocolate mousse!
