How To Make Pita Bread

How To Make Pita Bread – homemade, with only a handful of ingredients!
Pita bread is one of my favorite baked goods. It’s incredibly versatile, and it was my go-to food when I first started out as a vegan. Pita, hummus, and falafel were my go-to lunch.
Also, as a lot of you have probably noticed, falafel and pita bread is a super common vegan meal at restaurants and coffee shops. I ate so much of that stuff when I went out, to the point where I had enough of it.
When I see at a restaurant that the vegan option is falafel, I just get annoyed these days, because it’s sooooo common.

I still eat pita and falafel every so often, but definitely not as much as I used to.
The beautify of pita bread, is that it’s also quite versatile, you can use it as a side dish to your meal, you can stuff it, and even make chips out of it.

Making Homemade Pita Bread:

Patience is the key to making pita bread, you will need to chill the dough once you have made it so that it rises. After that, the dough is divided between 4 and stretched by hand.
The baking is very quick, the pitas are baked on high heat for 4-5 minutes. They get very puffy when they bake. it’s magic.

To be honest, making pita bread is actually quite easy because it also only requires a handful of ingredients. Follow the instructions below correctly, and you will end up with beautiful homemade pita bread!
