A Thorough Guide On Vegan Energy Food To Take On A Trip

Here I am going to walk you through A Thorough Guide On Vegan Energy Food To Take On A Trip!
There is nothing better than having a quick energy bite in hand on the go, for whenever you are adventuring. There is a lot of vegan junk food out there, so today I will introduce you to some delicious healthy vegan snacks.

Or, sometimes, “real” food sounds exhausting and you just want something quick and easy to throw into your purse and call “lunch” without anyone judging you.

Well, consider this a judgment-free zone. And if today is one of those days, here is my solution: Energy bites/Energy Bars!

Not gonna lie, I am the lazy type of cook, I’m kind of into quick and easy. I’m like that weird friend of yours with all the mom things in her purse who doesn’t actually have any kids. No sign of babies around here, just so many snacks.

So, energy bites! The most basic recipe contains 5 ingredients:

  1. Dates
  2. Peanut butter/nut butter of choice
  3. Chia seeds
  4. Oats
  5. Dairy-free dark chocolate

The good news about these little bad boys is they’re totally customizable! No peanut butter? Sub any other nut butter. Not into chocolate (seriously, is that even possible?) Omit it and add more oats and chia seeds. Don’t like chia seeds? Sub linseeds or hemp seeds.

It’s that easy my friends.

This is basically an edible cookie dough. Take a spoon and eat it straight. (Who on Earth would do such a thing?) Well…I would…

Or get your hands dirty, and roll some bite-sized bites.

Your friends are gonna be so happy to see what’s in your mom’s purse.

Anyway…You get the idea of how to make quick energy bites. However, I would like to introduce you to a couple of other recipes, that I personally adore.

  1. No-Bake Protein Brownies ( 9g Of Protein Per Brownie )

2. 4-Ingredient Healthy Matcha Bites. MADE IN 5 MINUTES!

I mean come on! It doesn’t get any better than that! To have a deliciously healthy, caffeinated matcha bites in your bag, that does the job for your morning caffeine kick + energy boost!

They are super simple and easy to make, and if you like matcha baby, you’re gonna love these bad boys!

And here we are again…back to the balls…but I have to admit, they are very convenient and yummy!

These super-simple energy balls are a perfect energy-filled, protein-rich, insanely tasty snack for you keen adventurers. Jam-packed with so much good stuff to fuel your exploring bodies and souls. Other super simple ways to get that fuel:

  1. Take some fruit!

I know, I know, you have heard this before, the fruit is boring, etc…But man, it does come in handy!

The good thing about it is that the majority of it, doesn’t require refrigeration, so it becomes the ultimate travel snack.

Bananas are my favorite because they pump you with energy pretty quickly once eaten and they are super convenient.

Don’t like bananas? No problem, take some dried fruit with you, or apples and oranges.

  1. Take some dark chocolate!

Once again, another bonus here, chocolate doesn’t require refrigeration ( I mean, I know people who put chocolate in the fridge…and I am like SERIOUSLY DUDE?

Anyway, chocolate is super convenient and it will wake you up if you become tired, as it contains caffeine.

But then again…there are some weirdos who don’t like chocolate…for THOSE people, I would suggest packing some Medjool dates, stuffed with nut butter.

  1. Take some snack bars/protein bars:

Such as vegan flapjack bars, vegan protein bars, there are some good options out there.
I will drop my recipe for my favorite homemade protein bars here.
They are packed with enough protein to give your body the boost it needs while satisfying the sweetness you crave.

These bars are perfect for breakfast, afternoon snack, post-gym, or just whenever really! They are very filling and taste absolutely amazing. You will never buy these expensive unhealthy protein bars from the shop again once you try these!

Summary:

Right so, I have introduced you to a couple of my favorite recipes created by me ( of course ), plus a couple of other lazy options.

Now that the snacks are packed, it’s time to go on your adventure!
